KEYMACRO is a sound control panel designed with the specific purpose of controlling a digital sound system (home stereo, personal music player, computer, or music system).
Keymacro is based on the concept that the value of a key is not the whole sound of the key, but also the value of other keys (such as the volume of the music).
The program combines virtual musical instruments with sound effects (arpeggiator, filter, delay, reverb, modulation, or frequency modulator), loops and random keys to create a powerful, yet easy to use tool for the digital audio field.
User interface
KEYMACRO can be used in three different ways:
I. As a standalone application
You are free to create, edit, and run sounds by using the main window.
II. As a plug-in for various sound programs
In this case, you can create, edit, and run sounds by using the main window.
III. As a stand-alone sound synthesizer
In this case, you can create, edit, and run sounds with the help of two windows:
a) The main window, with the ability to view a window that shows the current key and sounds, as well as an option to import external files with sound effects
b) A window where you can edit and play the sound you just created
You can also create the master wave file, as well as create a loop or a random generator. In the random generator window, you can type in a value from 0 to 1, which represents the randomness of the function.
Keymacro includes a variety of features such as key offset, key motion, pitch, preset, modulation, and arpeggiator functions.
